Okay, so you've got a great product, it fills that gap in the market and all your friends, colleagues (and hopefully Bank Manager) are convinced it's a sure thing. You are sure that your business is ready to rake in the profits it deserves through the miracle and wonder of Internet e-commerce. So just throw up a website (in blue), attach your PayPal account and you're on your way. Well aren't you?

The number may seem grim for Web-based commerce. In 2004 in the Unites States alone, computer users logged in more than 207,000 Internet fraud reports to the U.S. Internet Crime Complaint Center. If you look hard at this number, you may be astounded, and a good bit frightened, by the implication. You may ask, "Is it really safe to buy and sell at an online site?"

I'm going to start this off with the most essential mindset; I believe this to be the number one business-saving, money-generating rule. I call this the SGT method.

Can Internet Marketing really be leveraged to produce a worthwhile and long term career?
