Facebook was founded by Mark Zuckerberg with his college roommates and fellow computer science students in 2004. In January 2009 Compete.com study ranked Facebook as the most used social networking service by worldwide monthly active users. On this moment Facebook has more then 750 million active users. 50% log on Facebook every day. There are more than 250 million active users currently accessing Facebook through their mobile devices.
